"Duck4267@gnn.com" first appeared in an email sent to me, then in newsgroup posts. Hillyard's web pages at inetnow.net had a picture of "our friends the Ducks of Greenville, SC."
July 15, 1996 - Email to me claiming to have gotten my email address from posts that didn't appear until July 16--meaning either he's clairvoyant or he personally posted those messages.
July 15, 1996 - he also sent email to Ferris.Buehler@Mindspring.com, another of the "net cops" whose posts sparked his initial harassing emails.
July 15-16, 1996 - posted 15 messages to alt.general attacking MindSpring and me.
Re: ISP advice PLEASE! NOT MINDSPRING! - claimed to be a friend of Hillyard's, and blamed Hillyard's son for the "messing around on the net" and getting Hillyard's MindSpring account cancelled.
Re: Disappointed in Mindspring - used one of his favorite insults from rec.sport.football.college anyone associated with the University of Georgia.
Re: ISP advice PLEASE! NOT MINDSPRING! - now he claims to be one of Hillyard's coworkers at the CDC, and claims Hillyard is the "head of our connectivity department."
