Hillyard and his family have several email addresses at Alachua Freenet in Florida--Alachua County is in the Gainesville, Florida area, where Hillyard says he attended the University of Florida. It is likely that they've had those accounts since they were actually residents of Florida. The address assigned to Hillyard himself is afn30721@afn.org, which is still fingerable.
As far as I can tell, afn.org may have had a newsfeed from jaxnet.com at one time and may have had one from ufl.edu, as it seems to exist on machines at the university.
January 2, 1996 - gave the afn30721@afn.org address in the headers of a message. posted to three aquaria newsgroups through Future Net's (atlcom.net) newsfeed advertising his web site there at http://www.atlcom.net/~rmh1/aaaa.html. He posted a second message to the same groups advertising a subsidiary page on the site, http://www.atlcom.net/~rmh1/guppy/guppy.html.
January 15, 1996 - gave afn30721@afn.org address in the headers of a message posted to rec.crafts.brewing using jaxnet.com's newsfeed. I believe that may be the newsfeed used by afn.org.
January 17, 1996 - used the jaxnet.com newsfeed through afn.org to post a message posted to rec.crafts.brewing, giving rmh1@opsirm1.em.cdc.gov as his email address.
January 17, 1996 - used the jaxnet.com newsfeed through afn.org to post a message posted to rec.crafts.brewing, giving rmh1@atlcom.net as his email address and stating that the previous message had an address that was a mixture of his work and home addresses.
March 4, 1996 - used afn30721@afn.org as address in message posted to three aquaria newsgroups through ufl.edu's newsfeed advertising his page at http://www.atlcom.net/~rmh1/guppy/guppy.html.

June 13, 1996 - posted a message to alt.aquaria from his MindSpring account advertising his web pages afn.org and mindspring.com.

January 1, 1997 - posted a message to atl.general from his lavaca.com account advertising his web site at http://www.afn.org/~afn30721, but pretended to be a third party. The page contained a cowardly HTML trick--hiding text that wouldn't be obvious to casual readers, but which would be indexed by search engines, that said "Cynthia Smathers is a Sicko, a bitch, and a very unstable individual!" while falsely claiming affiliation with many respectable organizations who do not wish to be associated with him. Hillyard also had his resumé on the site. That document contained lies as well, claiming at least one degree he does not seem have earned.
